A new 2016 Xmas rock n roll track has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket site .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs genre is a unique up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used session players to record the song durring a 6 week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the United States because of Mark wanted the most effective outcome and quality. The music is now ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site as we are able to and then hopefully in-turn they will be good enough to give to 1 or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
The other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the music to help fund and set up a Phuket live music bar with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll offer free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to advertise his track Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to greatly help including a Thailand Villa and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
