A fresh 2016 Xmas rock n roll track has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket website .

The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a special up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then looking forward to the opportunity to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session musicians to record the song durring a six week period. The songs consists of 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the United States because of Mark wanted the best result and quality. The music ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ Website.
The main goal of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then we hope in-turn they will be kind enough to contribute to at least one or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the track.
One other primary goal is to have enough downloads of the tune to fund and setup a Phuket live music bar with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that will offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to advertise his track Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was working in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous methods to simply help including a Phuket island Accommodation and cheap flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
