How weddings have changed over the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight marriage ceremony members; a simple wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; 1-3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
Talking about rogues, wedding speeches remain a fundamental part of a marriage and guests do enjoy hearing them, speaking about them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.
We are all aware of father of the bride speech delivered prior to the meal, during the meal and after your food, however it is of a strong opinion the wedding speeches needs to be delivered following the meal. I realize that for many wedding ceremony speakers i.e. Father with the Bride Speech, Father from the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the 5 main speakers), they’d choose to contain the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, for them to enjoy their meal (many of them are spending money for it!). However, it’s all about the invited guests and just how a lot of them (as well as the marriage venue staff) would like the wedding speeches to get delivered after the meal for most reasons, most of which include:
The invited guests are already fed and watered and are not playing wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which may be so prior to the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served in the agreed time (introduce the wedding speeches prior to meal along with their can be quite a delay of 15 minutes one.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy always keeping food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches work as the transition from the meal to the dancing (without a penny happening following your meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to become shared in regards to the Bride & Groom then they know they can wake up, move, come out, take a stroll, see a bar…)
It can be hard for moms and dads in the Bride & Groom to communicate in in public areas, the majority of them may not be used of it. So, they may, should they so wished, speak before the / their meal.
There should nevertheless be some type of formal speech(es) after the meal…
