A great deal of love adopts the pieces of solid timber furniture created at Buywood, from the quality workmanship of our highly skilled craftsmen through to your input being a client commissioning a made to order piece. With this post we would have liked to offer some understanding of what differentiates the timber furniture made at Buywood using their company furniture makers across Australia.

Good quality Solid Timber
Only at Buywood Furniture we use excellent, recycled solid timber from sustainable sources to create unique, timeless home furniture. Once built, our timber pieces undergo a radical sanding and polishing process by skilled polishers. As each piece of furniture is personalized at our Alderly workshop, any one of our furniture designs might be made to order with all the excellent timber that you picked.

Customized Furniture
Our specialty at Buywood is creating made to order pieces to suit the actual needs of our clients. Members of our team enjoy meeting customers personally with a one-to-one basis to determine the requirements and ensure how the custom made furniture they commission is an ideal fit for his or her home. Lee Kenny, person who owns Buywood Furniture hand sketches all designs created by the Buywood team, and oversees each design from initial drawings to final polishing. If you were involved in designing your furniture piece, you’ll be invited to the Alderly workshop to be sure of its progress, and our experienced team will assist you with installing the piece in your house.

Four Generations Strong
Lee Kenny can be a 4th generation furniture maker who works across all of the custom furniture created by the Buywood team. He prides himself with a traditional method of furniture making, which slows the development process and utilises traditional joinery ways to create pieces that serve you for a lifetime. Currently when the way forward for Australia’s manufacturing companies are uncertain, Buywood Furnishings are proud to get been Australian made and Australian owned for four generations of craftsmen.
