One of the biggest secrets we strive to keep is often a sense of autonomy and pride. The thought or feeling that you are essential in some special way, that you will be used by a unique person, a thief is supplying you with special attention, they are a number of the ego’s very subtle secrets. We have been attempting to hide our Divine Self and therefore are playing all these different games, which appear to be very upsetting. It really is pretty depressing and it really doesn’t go anywhere, therefore we attempt to get scraps of special love, attention and recognition to prop ourselves up.
We work so desperately at becoming “better people”, at gaining greater intelligence and much more skills. We should be liked increasingly be popular. The entire self-help market is centered on helping the self in order to be a better you. That’s as we secretly use on ourselves, thinking we will need to keep spinning our wheels trying to become better. This self-improvement game is an additional secret we could to understand to let go of. It is rather relaxing once you start to understand you do not must become any benefit than you seem to be. You’re created perfect. It’s not at all through self-improvement that you find peace but through self-acceptance.
When i worked with A program in Miracles, I saw that there was obviously a fear of divine love over the internet. I spotted this is the ego’s nervous about losing itself. The ego is fearful of being exposed and being viewed as a puff of nothingness. Which is the fear of intimacy. We mention this fear in relationships, that’s sometimes projected as anxiety about sexual intimacy, but it’s a legitimate concern with dropping our persona, our mask of individuality. It does not take anxiety about getting swept away with a glorious love, a passion so powerful that no one can also imagine something as glorious and powerful!
For me, these are the big secrets, because it doesn’t begin with an excellent awareness. It always starts with feeling as if you have done a problem, whether you’ve masturbated, stolen something, mistreated somebody, or there’s in your head that you have judged as so hideous which you don’t even desire to admit it, you just want to forget about it and push against each other of awareness.
Underneath dozens of memories and thoughts, will be the thought that we have been separated. Here is the “secret” we hide. It is actually a hopeless belief, but we believe that it is true; We’ve judged becoming horrific and also have pushed it out of awareness. All unconscious guilt originates from this belief in separation. And as you truly allow onto the miracle, you’re feeling all those hidden beliefs and secrets are now being washed away so you finally face this hidden belief in separation!
