How weddings have changed on the decades! From the handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight bridal party members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and big wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
These are the second, wedding speeches are still an important part of a married relationship and guests do enjoy hearing them, referring to them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.
We are all aware of wedding speeches delivered ahead of the meal, throughout the meal after your food, yet it is of the strong opinion that the father of the groom speech needs to be delivered following your meal. I realize that for many wedding ceremony speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father of the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they will prefer to have the wedding speeches before the meal, so they can enjoy their meal (some of them are paying for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and exactly how most of them (as well as the wedding ceremony venue staff) would rather wedding ceremony speeches to get delivered after the meal for most reasons, many of which include:
The invited guests happen to be fed and watered and aren’t listening to wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which could be ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival at the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served in the agreed time (introduce the wedding speeches before the meal as well as their might be a delay of Fifteen minutes to a single.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy always keeping food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding speeches work as the transition in the meal towards the dancing (broke happening as soon as the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared in regards to the Bride & Groom and they do know they are able to get out of bed, maneuver around, take a break, take a stroll, see a bar…)
It can be hard for moms and dads from the Bride & Groom to speak in public areas, as most of them would not be used of computer. So, they could, whenever they so wished, speak prior to the / their meal.
There should always be some sort of formal wedding speech(es) as soon as the meal…
