How weddings have changed on the decades! Coming from a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding party members; an easy wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

Talking about aforementioned, wedding speeches are nevertheless an important part of a marriage and guests do anticipate hearing them, speaking about them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.

We know of father of the bride speech delivered prior to the meal, during the meal and after the meal, yet it is of your strong opinion that the wedding speeches must be delivered as soon as the meal. I realize that for a lot of wedding ceremony speakers i.e. Father from the Bride Speech, Father from the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they’d choose to possess the wedding speeches prior to meal, to allow them to enjoy their meal (some of them are spending money for it!). However, it’s all about the invited guests and just how most of them (as wll as the wedding venue staff) would like the marriage speeches being delivered as soon as the meal for most reasons, most of which include:

The invited guests happen to be fed and watered and aren’t playing wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which could be the case prior to the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival on the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served at the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches prior to the meal and their can be quite a delay of 15 minutes to a single.5 hours, driving your home staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches behave as the transition through the meal on the dancing (with nothing happening following the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ being shared about the Bride & Groom and they do know they can wake up, move about, come out, go for a walk, see a bar…)
It’s not easy for fogeys with the Bride & Groom to talk in public places, the majority of them may not be used of computer. So, they might, should they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.

There should be some kind of formal wedding speech(es) after the meal…
