How weddings have changed within the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight marriage ceremony members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

Talking about aforementioned, wedding speeches continue to be a fundamental part of a marriage and guests do look forward to hearing them, talking about them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.

We know of father of the groom speech delivered ahead of the meal, in the meal after the meal, yet it is of your strong opinion that this wedding speeches should be delivered after the meal. I am aware that for several wedding party speakers i.e. Father with the Bride Speech, Father with the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the five main speakers), they would choose to have the wedding speeches before the meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (many of them are paying for it!). However, all is here the invited guests and just how many (as well as the wedding venue staff) would prefer the marriage speeches to become delivered following your meal for many reasons, a few of which include:

The invited guests have already been fed and watered and aren’t hearing wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which would be prior to the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food may be cooked and served at the agreed time (introduce the wedding speeches prior to meal along with their might be a delay of 15 minutes one.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy trying to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The marriage speeches act as the transition in the meal for the dancing (broke and alone happening after the meal, individuals are expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared regarding the Bride & Groom then they understand they are able to stand up, move, have a break, go for a walk, navigate to the bar…)
It’s not easy for fogeys of the Bride & Groom to communicate in public places, as most of them may not be used of computer. So, they could, if they so wished, speak prior to the / their meal.

There should still be some type of formal speech(es) following the meal…
