The Poly Macau Art Auction will be held again until today on the Regency Art Hotel. The categories include Chinese and Asian Contemporary and modern Art, Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art as well as Jewels and Prestige Collections.
Masterpieces of Chinese modern art maestros is going to be displayed to represent the key developments of Chinese contemporary art history, including Wu Guangzhong’s “Snowscape in Beijing”, that is estimated for sale at HKD14 million approximately HKD28 million.

Regency Hotel opened in 1983 and possesses suffered with past business closures. Ho, however, hopes to change it into an art form hotel. “In Macau, there can be many resplendent big hotels, but the amount of hotels that are employed for art as well as some creational events is, actually, not very great,” said Ho.
